It's hard but it was the last kind thing you did for her, you cared for her well, right to the end. (((hugs)))<BR/><BR/>Sadly, that exact thing happened to our Miss Purdy (she was actually 22 years old!) but she just started to lose weight so rapidly and the vet basically said the kindest thing to do is to put her to sleep. We never got the chance as she passed on her own the morning that we were going to bring her in. She too died peacefully while we held her. It's strange to not see her around the house and jumping into my lap whenever I sit down. <BR/><BR/>So I'll share a tear with you.
